Airport Handling, a majority-owned subsidiary of Dubai-based global air and travel services company dnata, has inaugurated its new office at Rome Fiumicino airport (FCO).
The facility is part of the company’s multi-million-euro investment, which includes a planned EUR20-million-plus investment in advanced ground support equipment (GSE), following the award of a seven-year ground handling licence in Rome.
Located at FCO's Terminal 3, Airport Handling will provide a range of ramp and passenger services to airlines in Rome. Currently targeting to launch operations in the second half of 2024, it plans to employ over 1,800 at the airport.
