Japan tourist arrivals to Australia continued to perform poorly with total arrival figures of 264,200 for the seven months to July 2008, dropping 19 per cent relative to the same period of the previous year, according to the latest Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) visitor arrival figures for the seven months to July 2008.

Czech state-run airline CSA has reported a net loss of 178 million koruna (US$10.4 million) for the first half of 2008, up marginally on a net loss of 175 million koruna (US$10.3 million) for the same period in 2007.

The Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC) reported a record-breaking year in 2007-08, generating turnover of A$27.3 million (A$25.9 million for 2006-07) and attracting 486,000 visitors, including 27,000 who would have otherwise not visited South Australia.
