New president for Aloha Cargo

Lee Steele, a former vice president of operations at Aloha Airlines, has been appointed president of Aloha Air Cargo.

Aloha Air Cargo now is owned by Seattle, USA-based Saltchuk. Steele most recently was president of Global Dimensions, an aviation consulting company.

He originally left Aloha Airlines in 2006 to become president and chief executive officer of Champion Air, which went out of business.

Steele takes over at Aloha Air Cargo on July 1 and replaces Mike Malik, who recently stepped down for personal reasons.
