Bangkok Air withdraws IATA threat

Thailand-based Bangkok Airways has withdrawn its threat of legal action against the International Air Transportation Association (IATA).

Earlier this month it said it wanted to reclaim THB55 million lost at the airline trade body's Bank Settlement Plan (BSP) clearing house.

The airline's withdrawal of the threat will permit IATA to provide further clarifications on a fraud that cost 84 carriers a combined THB550 million.
