Gatwick in GBP1 billion upgrade

Gatwick Airport has revealed a GBP1 billion plan to transform the airport over the next two years and deliver new, modern facilities at every step of a passenger's journey through Gatwick.

From next month, passengers will have access to a new inter-terminal shuttle and a brand new multi-million pound extension to the airport's North Terminal.

Further improvements will follow as the airport moves to make itself a more relevant competitor to Heathrow.
