Delta reports record Q1 revenue

USA-based Delta Air Lines has reported record first-quarter adjusted revenue of US$12.6 billion.

 

Like many other airlines, its cargo revenues had decreased last year.
 
Its cargo revenues during Q4, its busiest period for freight, fell 24 per cent to US$188 million, which was better than the prior three quarters, when cargo revenue was down between 28-37 per cent compared to the same periods in 2022. 
 
For the full year, Delta’s cargo sales fell 31 per cent to US$723 million.
 
In other news, Delta is to launch a daily Airbus A330-900neo service from Seattle to Taipei, Taiwan on June 6, 2024.
